Ron is busy trying to get Visas sorted for our recee trip, medicals lined up so we can start the malaria prevention meds, and checking in with the office. We have also been enjoying some great family time and had over 25 people here for a Labor Day Cookout. The chance to spend extra time with family is a definite plus to being stateside!!!
Ashley's three legged dog checking out the neighbor's horses. Poor dog, as to him the temptation to chase those horses would be like me passing up Blue Bell ice cream!
We are currently waiting for our passports to return with our Visas for Angola in order to travel next week for our recee trip. We are going with an open mind and expecting the worse so anything positive with be a nice surprise. Who knows it could turn out to be a fascinating place like Russia! Just for giggles I added a poll at the bottom of this blog to see who would accept a posting in Angola. Please vote!
Farmer Ron in his "do rag!" Never thought I would see this but Ron claims they work great!
Next post will probably be sometime late September after our recee trip.

Hey...nice to finally see a post from you. Sounds like you are having a good time catching up with family. The "do rag" is Ron! ;-) Have a safe trip to Angola.
Hi! Nice to hear from you guys. We love the photo of Ron! Have a great trip & keep us posted on how it goes.
Hugs to you both,
Karyn, Norm & Ilya
Looks like "Farmer on" is having a blast! Can't wait to see photos from your upcoming trip!
I know y'all will have a great time in Angola. I think it'll definitely be more 'limited' as far as excursions go but Africa is a colorful, fascinating place. And, if anyone could love it there and make the most of it, it would be y'all. We would take the assignment if we didn't have children (yound children don't do well on the anti-malaria meds) thus our Maybe vote. But, we're just a tad crazy so that could explain a lot :) Enjoy, enjoy! Can't wait to hear all about it! Love, hugs and safe travels, Tamara
Keith didn't recognize Ron in the do-rag! :-) Hehehehe... he looks great! :-) I love, love, love the dogs in the yard! I can't wait to hear about your trip to Angola. I've been dying to hear your take on it and if I know you adventureous ones, you'll be there in no time! I saw your ticker for Ashley! 7 months - YAY! :-)
