Hard to believe that on Tuesday Mother will have been living with us for three weeks. I think she is doing a bit better since leaving the rehab facility. Here she is getting individualized attention as opposed to group care and seems to be improving. Mentally she is still struggling to understand what is going on and why she can't walk. She is a great patient and always says thank you for anything you do for her. This has been a true group experience, and I have been amazed at how God has always provided an extra pair of hands when need the most. We serve an Awesome God!

When this first started we talked to mother alot about the new babies arriving in our family, and we are looking for Andy and Wyatt to arrive on Thursday for a visit. Holly and Eli will be coming down from North Carolina sometime in March, and I am sure Melissa will be here soon with Whit. I have often wondered if one of the reason Mother has fought so hard to get better is to see these great grandbabies. I will close this post with a few pictures of Ron, Ashley and I getting ready for Wyatt's arrival. Can you tell that we are over the moon with the idea of having Wyatt here for a few days?

Paka!

OFF TO SET UP WYATT'S BED AND WONDERING WHY WE BOUGHT A HOUSE WITH STAIRS.

FINDING A TREASURE IN THE ATTIC THAT HAS BEEN STORED FOR OVER 22 YEARS.

OFF TO SEE HOW THE BED HAS HELD UP AFTER BEING IN STORAGE FOR YEARS.

THIS THING WENT TOGETHER EASIER THE FIRST TIME AROUND. WONDER IF IT'S BECAUSE WE ARE GETTING OLDER.

ALL DONE AND FEELING LIKE A POPPA.

GRANDBABIES ROCK!

Please Pray

Our family has made the decision to move Mother home with us under Hospice Care on Tuesday. I would be really grateful for your prayers over the next few days, weeks or whatever time the good Lord choses for this to go on. Can we do this at home? Truthfully, I just don't know but I keep thinking back to a sign on a local church that I pass on the way to the rehab hospital. The sign reads Do something - God will do the rest

Had to share that Ashley got her results back this weekend from her national boards and she PASSED! We are proud parents of an Alabama certified and Nationally certified soon to be Doctor of Veterinary Medicine! It has been a long and challenging four years, but Ashley is almost at the finish line. They have four more weeks of clinical on campus and then she will travel to Memphis for an eight week internship. I think this picture is so sweet!

CATCHING A FEW ZZZZ'S

I know some of you with young children at home must sometimes think college is so far away Trust me - eighteen years will fly by!

LOOKING LIKE A FUTURE VET

I want to thank those who have read this blog and lifted up a prayer for by mom "The Queen." Things are about the same and my heart breaks for her as she struggles to talk and move about in the bed. Posting these pictures and writing about this stage of her life and mine has been real therapy for me.
