It appears that our trip to Angola is going to be delayed as our passports were not delivered today by UPS. The frustrating thing about it is the passports made it to Montgomery but not on the truck for delivery, and to top that the local office is not open to the public on Saturday for pickup. So we canceled flights and hotels and now must work on rebooking the flight to Angola which does not fly everyday. Oh well...this is where we maintain a high degree of flexibility.
The good news is that we got to spend the day with Ashley in Auburn. Ron and Ash worked on a plumbing problem in the trailer while I took the paintings we had done in Moscow to Hobby Lobby for framing. Then we decided to take in a movie. We chose the movie because the starting time meshed with our schedules for the evening. Gotta take advantage of anytime we can get considering Ashley's clinical rotations. Loved the movie - Tyler Perry The Family That Preys with Kathy Bates.
I think we turned our Lemon of the day (passports not being delivered) into Lemonade (time with our our daughter)!

I'm so sorry you weren't able to head out when you wanted to, but am glad you were able to spend some time with Ashley! Good to know that movie is good - I love Tyler Perry's movies! Keep us posted on your trip (and did you finally get your passports??).
Sorry you were delayed but as most of the adoptive families will tell you, everything happens for a reason.
