Miracles in our family

No new posts for awhile as it has been pretty quite around here. Mother continues to improve waaay past any of our expectations, and now we are looking at the possibilty of getting her into a rehab hospital. There is a huge chance that with the right rehab she could walk again. This past week Ron and I were curious as to what she might could do and were blown away by her determination to walk. This morning she told me that she never thought she would not walk again. Love the fighting spirit!

The Queen arrived here on Feb. 10 with a bedsore on her right foot that was already labled Stage 2, and anticipated to go to Stage 4 at any moment. Did you realize that Superman died from complications from a bedsore? In this picture she was telling the stroke to get out of her legs:) So our little 96 almost 97 year old Queen is probably going to be released from Hospice soon. How amazing is that!?!

Our other family miracle is our new grandson - Wyatt. Like so many other's I have been following little Stellan's fight for life which has humbled me and made me realize once again how fragile life is, and that we just never know what is going to happen from day to day. Seriously now, have you seen the recent post with Stellan recovering from surgery where he has a IV in his head and a precious smile on his face. The fact that Wyatt and Stellan are close in age has not escaped us also.

The next few days promises to be hectic and full of excitement as graduation nears. Andy and family will be arriving next weekend to help celebrate Ashley's graduation from Vet School. Did you notice on the sidebar that there are only 11 days remaining until graduation! As for Ron and I, we are counting the days and hours until we can hold this little man again and praying for Stellan and his family.

I can not believe how much Wyatt has grown since we saw him in March. Thanks Kasey for the photo updates.
